Art of Manliness: Prime Rib Roast

OK, Searching, talk to me. Just got a pellet smoker, RecTec, and want to do a roast. Any secrets you'd like to share.
This is all new to me and don't really want to make a pricey cut of beef a disaster. I'll take any and all advice.
