For a solid cobbler that holds up well against all those other complicated recipes:

One bag frozen berries
Top with one box of yellow cake mix
Pour one can of lemon/lime soda on the top (Sprite/7up)
Into the oven, 350, until golden brown on the top.
Serve over vanilla ice cream.
