brewing beer on the move
i've made a lot of beer at home so i kind of know the answer to my question already, but i'd be interested to here if people are making beer on the move obviously there is a period of about 1 to 2 ...

The only issue I see is the space? You would need to store 12 to 15 six packs in order to have beer to drink and empty bottles to fill/age and then drink. Plus room for fermenter and brewing equipment/supplies. I would use kits and then only have a few on hand.
If you full time maybe you could do it depending on your rig/trailer. I take beer with me for a couple weeks trip but usually only have one or two beers a day so no more than a 24. After two weeks I buy beer. There are now many good brewers in the country, 10 years ago brewing your own would have been more of a necessity to have good beer.
For me, constant temp and a dark, quiet location for fermenting and finishing is a must. I think your investment will turn out less than perfect and that's the goal.
Point #2: There are so many microbrewers here now you can sample flavors from coast to coast. I think your trip might be more enjoyable leaving the brewery home and search for that perfect microbrew. Write home about your findings.
