I have been brining our Butterball turkeys for years. Three to five days and you will have a bird people will dream about. Do not overcook it. Use a thermometer. I don't have my recipe handy but any basic one will do and I do not cut back on the salt.
In addition to the brining. Dry the bird before cooking and lift the skin to add pats of butter under the skin. Get aggressive and push it where it will go.
