The first night, after arrival, it is fast food to give the cook a break.
As a "tradition" we always did foil cooking one night, with whatever contents you prefer. The great thing about that is every camper gets to "custom" make their own dinner.
One night was always Chili and Hotdogs, with all the fixings.
One night was a "luxury" food that we did not eat often at home (budget restrictions.) For us it was Shrimp, scallops or lobster.
We are also partial to grilled chicken.
