The only "can cooker" method I know about is the one by which you cover an unopened can of whatever with water and bring it to a boil. Let 'er simmer for a few minutes, always making sure the can stays covered with water. Them remove from heat, open the can, and voila! whatever's in the can is hot. No muss, fuss, or pans to wash.
