Can we talk about LIMA BEANS, please

nope,I still haven't come across that problem. I don't eat peas anymore since my husband passed.

I'll eat raw peas fresh from the garden. Don't like them cooked in any form.

I'm not fond of Lima beans, but would never buy canned ones. Too mealy. My grandmother always froze the Lima beans they grew, and used them in succotash with frozen corn she did up.
Whew, canned Lima beans are as in appealing as canned peas, which should be outlawed! Frozen peas are pretty much the same color and consistency as fresh, but ugh, canned peas are mushy and grey green. Pure torture.

Beets - I had an elderly neighbor lady that boiled them up - drained them and then glazed them with frozen orange juice concetrate and a little honey. They were fantastic.
My mother liked to spread miracle whip in her beets -- yuk!

Is chili even chili without kidney beans (red beans) in it?

I like kidney beans in chili, and maybe a taco salad, but other than that- no.

Lima beans - I can eat them, but prefer not to however I never had them cooked with bacon or anything, just plain. I would try them cooked with bacon to see if my opinion of them changed.

I'm surprise so many on the forum hate Lima beans. Frozen baby Lima beans are the best!
