Cast Iron Nightmare??
I was given a nice old 10" cast iron skillet from the 1950's. Only problem is the former owner sprayed it with WD40 in his garage so she wouldn't rust. Any chance of bringing it back?

Time can make a big difference when revising a rusty piece. I've had success with smearing lard on the piece and then letting it rest for a month or so. This seems to get rust well oiled and gives you a softer foe.
