Ceviche

little marisco hole in the wall near me has some of the best ceviche

white fish (or shrimp) I'm not fond of the mixta (don't like octopus)
tomatoes
onion
cilantro
**cucumber - love the addition of the cuke
lime juice
topped with sliced avocado

I squeeze some lemon on it, drizzle tapatio and dig in!!!

mmmm .... I know what I'm having for lunch today!!

Mexican neighbor would put avocado in his and I thought it was a nice add.

I grew up eating escoveitch and when I discovered ceviche it was instant LOVE! One of my criteria for a retirement locale is lots and lots of fresh fish:).

A couple years ago, I was on a fishing boat in Puerto Penasco and the crew made ceviche right on the boat with the fish we caught. Yum!

it needs to be fresh, fresh, fresh so good

I like some chopped Jalepeno in mine.
