Tried a new recipe for today's office chili cook off and walked away with the top prize. It was part internet recipe and part Dave free-lance. I'll try to put it all together so I can post it.
Congrats and I'm sure it tastes great. I always put in pork. Seems light on chili powder. I use a heaping Tbs per pound of meat plus one for the pot. You can get a very good chili powder on Amaxon called Frontier. $10 a pound free shipping. I usually add a Tbs of smoked Paprika too. I use the El Patio jalapeño tomato sauce too.
