Clam Chowder

Well, almost .... The Rocky Point Shore Dinner Hall used to serve a red chowder with RI style clam cakes. (note: RI style clam cakes are nothing like Maine style clam cakes) It was actually fairly good even though a true Rhode Islander doesn't consider "red chowder" to be a "real" clam chowda. It was sort of a local joke that red chowder was against the law.
