I agree! I bought this giant blue speckled enameled coffee pot from Cabelas, don't even know how much it holds, half gallon anyway. I bring right to a boil and take it off and dump one slightly rounded cup of good old Folgers and let it sit for like 10 minutes. Then we start pouring. It's great for camping trips when there is several in the camp. It never seems to run out of coffee.
We use Sams Club Hazelnut.
Drip I get pea berry Kona medium roast ordered from a Hawaii plantation. Very expensive very high in caffeine. Not for fire pit coffee.
