coffee pot parts

Hello all,
The wife and I use a Coleman 14 cup perkalator pot for our coffee in the morings. Well our stem broke and we can not find any replacement parts for it. I called Coleman and they said they don't make parts. Really! I Googled and everything.I can't find anything.so the base is suppose to be 2" in Diameter and 8"-8 1/2" in height.so would anyone know where I might find one? The pot is still like new. So I don't want to spend $40 for a new pot. Thanks for any advise and help. Karl

    JB-Weld? Seriously - that stuff fixes anything. Can be sanded, cut, painted, and is heat-proof (at least for what you're doing....)

    Did the stem come loose from the base?

    If so......use a tapered punch to recrimp stem to base.
    Then as suggested.....JB Weld to make it sold/firm.


    Might have luck with THRIFT Stores for another stem.

    Nope threw it away thinking I could buy another one. In a pinch we used a panty hose stocking as a filter. LOL

    The thrift store was my thought, too. That's where we found the replacement pot for the Pyrex glass one. There were a lot on eBay, too, but most people thought theirs were made of gold instead of glass. Do a seach on Google. You might come up with something. Good luck.

    If you're going to make cowboy coffee, be sure to use a clean sock. :)

    Hold on there pardner... two people, fourteen cups of coffee. How big a holding tank do you have? And I anit talking fresh tank either!
