Cost of beef
I'm sure this will vary with the news source, but I heard to expect a 45% increase in the cost of beef in US. Due to drought conditions. Coffee is going way up, too.

I suspect the lady was telling the truth. She is probably raising corn fed beef and selling it to individual buyers.
As feed and land prices increase it is only going up. It take a lot of land to finish a beef, a lot more than a hog or a rooster.
