I just bought the pork chops today and they were so thick I had to split them in half and they were still nice and thick ready for the grill. They are still thick enough to make a pocket and stuff them :)
My favorite way to use a thick Costco pork chop.
Brown a pound of spicy sausage and mix it with a box of stove top stuffing. Butterfly the chop and cram as much stuffing in it as I can. Then rub the outside with some seasoning and smoke to an internal temp of 145. - BudsterExplorerI just bought the pork chops today and they were so thick I had to split them in half and they were still nice and thick ready for the grill. Costco has always had premium meats, we shopped there when we lived in NY and now in Louisville. The quality is outstanding for the price you pay. The downside is that everything is "family pack" sized...For example, they have some of the nicest, thickest, juciest pork chops you will find, but they come in a 12-pack...works great if you have room in the freezer or are entertaining a large crowd for dinner.
Go in with another RV'er and split the cost and the meat. - DianneOKExplorerWe have bought Costco meat since the 80s . Always quality and good prices. Fulltiming for 9 years was a challenge in this respect, but we managed to keep our freezer full of Costco HB and pork chops.
Living 100 miles from Costco, we still keep the freezer full of their meats :) - dons2346ExplorerCan't beat a Costco prime rib eye steak. You can almost cut it with a fork
- Cool_CanuckExplorerJust about the only place I can find Prime in the RGV. They even had an small Prime Brisket last time I was there.
