crack in cast iron skillet
I recently bought a 10 inch cast iron chicken fryer at a flea market. As I was cleaning it up I noticed a 1 inch crack on the side wall. Can this be repaired or is it safe to use as is?

If it doesn't leak, you're good to go.
One of my best seasoned cast irons has a crack in it and it's still is good to use.
