crack in cast iron skillet
I recently bought a 10 inch cast iron chicken fryer at a flea market. As I was cleaning it up I noticed a 1 inch crack on the side wall. Can this be repaired or is it safe to use as is?

About 25 years ago I bought a cracked skillet for a buck at Kmart. Been using it ever since. If it doesn't leak put it to work.
