crack in cast iron skillet
I recently bought a 10 inch cast iron chicken fryer at a flea market. As I was cleaning it up I noticed a 1 inch crack on the side wall. Can this be repaired or is it safe to use as is?

It can be welded but you have to heat the cast iron up until it is red hot before you weld.
