crock pot cooking

We are wondering if the inverter that is factory installed in our rv (400 watts) would handle a small crock pot while we are driving? The inverter runs the TV plug only, so of course we would unplug that and only have the crock pot on that while in use. ( I already did the mod that keeps the plug on when the ignition is on)
Thanks!
  • A 400w inverter should easily handle a crock pot.

    70 watts on low
    250 watts on high

Check the label on your crock pot.

Some RVer's place their crock pot in the sink and use it while they are driving. You can use an extension cord from the TV outlet to the crock pot.
