DIY sandwich meat
Processed sandwich meat is getting higher priced all the time. I make ham salad, egg salad and chicken loaf. What do you do ?

Several months ago I ran some baked turkey thru the food processor and froze in a a peanut butter jar. I took it out this morning, defrosted it and added mayo, chopped celery and a little relish to it. It tasted fine. I usually do not like frozen cooked turkey but this tasted as tho it had just been made. With just two people at home leftover turkey lasts forever and I was happy to learn that making it into sandwich spread for use in a few months works.
