- magnusfideExplorer IIAs I said, feel free to post your own videos and recipes. No projection, just letting you know we are hobbyists here and your posts have been less than appreciative of other styles and preferences.

Propchef, good for you. If that makes you happy go for it. Feel free to post recipes or links to your videos if that is your preference.
You seem to be antagonistic toward other videos, styles or preferences on this forum. We're all just RVers with a cooking hobby here.
If that bothers you or in any way makes you feel that you are superior or that we are inferior, this might not be the place to hang out. Putting down other videos or styles is not the way to encourage others to take up dutch oven camp cooking. On this forum we respect others.
You're projecting. I offered an alternative, you jumped on me. I haven't antagonized anyone, simply offered alternatives. If that offends you, I can't stop that.
You seem to think you're the only one who can post here, so I'll leave it to you. Enjoy.

You're the only one who's been "less than appreciative."

- magnusfideExplorer IIThis vid was done by a Scouter. Scout DO recipes usually use powdered milk and filtered water.
If you prefer otherwise fine. Some RVers work with Scouts teaching DO camping skills.
YMMV. - propchefExplorer

This is great if you don't have access to refrigeration, otherwise use milk (or cream) instead of milk powder and water and butter rather than margarine.
Generally campers don't backpack a fridge with them.
... - JonWalterExplorerI wish this was one of those things where I walked into the attic of my grandmother’s farm house, brushed away the cobwebs with flashlight in hand searching for old family relics. There I uncovered an old cedar chest with half a century of dust weighing the lid down, I open the chest to see the glow of an old cook book with amazing recipes that have been kept safe from wars, depressions, floods and famine, the inscription on the inside of the book a handwritten note in Latin, one of those words with a bunch of U’s thrown in. I turn the page and boom, “great great great great Aunt Eunice’s sourdough biscuits”.
But, alas.
