Easter Dinner

We are planning on camping for our first time in the new TT on Easter weekend. Our menu for Easter dinner is below, what are you having?

Smoked ham (over fire)
Dutch oven green bean casserole
Mashed potatos
Corn
Deviled eggs
Rolls
  • We have done Thanksgiving in the RV for the last 15 years. We always do a turkey in a large electric roasting pan, green bean casserole in a crockpot, twice-baked potatoes done in the oven, deviled eggs, dressing (stuffing), and gravy. For the last 3 years, a group of us have prepared dinner and we always have more than we can eat and invite whomever is in the campground and doesn't have a meal planned. We have fed anywhere from 12 to 32 of us, with plenty of food left for the next day.

This year, we will also do Easter, but we haven't planned our menu yet, but it will look similar to yours.
  • Ribeye with simple mash and gravy.
Whatever greens we can pick up at a farmer's market.
Bacon chopped, cooked and mixed in with the mash and the cooked greens.
    Deviled eggs.
    Devils on horseback.
Angel food cake with strawberries and real whipped cream.
    Heavenly Hash Cake.
