Not doing anything for Easter this year. I think this is the first year in my 59 years... zilch! nada! nothing! No special dinners, no special activities, zip! Actually, Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwhiches sounds pretty good!
My son does not embrace our historical religious views any more (I don't know what he's thinking) so Easter has no significance to him. Although disappointed in his world view now, we're not going to push our ideals on him. So, there goes that!
My daughter is 600 miles away with her 3 girls. Just too far. Although she still embraces all the traditional values, she's just too far away.
So that leaves just my wife, me, and the dog! So this year, we decided, NADA! Although we are going to get our long haired dachshund a small basket full of doggie treats!
But to everyone else ... I have you all have a wonderful and magnificent day!
