Another empty nester with one granddaughter firmly ensconced in my home. In the process of selling my apartment of 20+ years and keeping it ready to show to prospective buyers.
Tomorrow, morn, we'll take the young lady to an egg hunt at a local museum.
Then I'll take out the good tableware, lay a blanket on the L/R floor and order take out from Citarella's for Easter dinner. As a special treat, we'll eat whilst watching a Harry Potter movie.
We'll split an order of green pea soup and creme of asparagus between the 3 of us(DGD wuvsss vegetable soups as do we)to start and and follow w/ stuffed Cornish hen for the lil grrlie and slices of rare roast leg of lamb for the adults. I'll pull some roasted asparagus and mashed potatoes out of the fridge and end the meal with individual pastries from a local pastry shop.
Sometimes not cooking is a lot of fun;).
