Sometimes on the road, I'll get an Egg McMuffin or similar from Tim Horton's. I thought it would be easy enough to put one together myself. The only egg ring I could find (the one at Bed, Bath & Beyond) got terrible reviews. Anyone seen one they could recommend? Would there be any real problem with just using something like an olive or tuna can?

Slice of bread. Cut out center with glass. Break egg and break yolk with fork. Microwave and enjoy.

Amazon has a TON of them!! And different sizes and shapes...bought a few different types and sizes from there. Some larger for pancakes, some smaller for egg muffins, and shipped right to your door.

We do it all the time! And ours are better than mickeyd's. look for one of these at Walmart BB&B, or at Amazon. Even at some larger Groceries. Egg cookerWe use the larger frozen sausage patties, put one in and MW for a bit, then add and egg, break the yoke, and cook about a minute. Dump out onto a muffin ir bun add a slice of cheese, and serve! Total less than 5 minutes.

I don't have any egg ring, but I just push the edges of the egg back into place if they spread too far, using the spatula, after it's partly cooked. Works fine.

My Walmart sells a tiny little miniature skillet for making an egg that fits nicely on a bagel or English mufflin. It's the perfect size.

Mine's a little bigger than a tuna can and I use a snap clothes pin to pick it up. Less bulky than a potholder.

THIS IS ALL YOU NEED. I SPRAY MINE WITH A LITTLE PAM AND ADD WHAT YOU WANT AND EAT IT ON AN ARNOLDS BUN. YUMMY!

I got mine from the local heavy truck repair shop, a 2" stub cut off a length of heavy wall 4" stainless exhaust pipe.

It's worked just fine for 30+ years now.

At one time I was considering to buy one. Found McDonalds much easier to go to and no clean up.

Depending on the ring's metal content bet it would as well. A biscuit cutter would prolly work best circumference wise.

Simple.no extra gadget needed and you can eat the bread

Except I lightly butter one side of bread and place that side down on griddle..then plop egg in cut-out. Break yolk or not personal preference
