I own two Wood Pellet BBQ Smoker-Grills. One is a tailgate unit which is perfect for the RV and meals for 2 while the other is a much larger pit I use for family and entertainment.
I plan to use my tailgate unit on the road all the time and don't anticipate any issues. I did ask at an RV park that does not allow fires if it was OK to use my unit and was informed that since its an inclosed unit there were no problems.
Besides, it's not any worse than the smoke/odors from some charcoal grills when they light up ...
