I have absolutely no problem with an aroma, not a billowing smoke. What I do have a problem with is some folks in this thread who obviously have no concern for their neighbors. they consider it to be their right to do whatever they wish with no concern for anybody else.

Fortunately most people fall between the two extremes, with one being "I don't want smoke, kids, pets, scooters, tobacco, alcohol" etc, and the other being "I'm here til Sunday night and I'm going to do what ever I darn well please".
Unless you're going to a CG that restricts certain things, I think the nature of camping in CGs is that you're going to encounter campfires, outdoor cooking, kids, pets, some drinking (not necessarily out of control), tobacco, and noise. The noise of people socializing, kids playing, music, etc. if the activities aren't illegal or prohibited by the CG, and quiet hours are being observed, I don't think I have the right to expect others to change their behaviors based on my health needs or personal dislikes. If I could not live with normal CG atmosphere I would either look for a restrictive CG and choose my spot accordingly, buy a piece of land where I won't come in contact with the public, or not go camping.
