As long as your pot fits on the top you should be fine. I'm kinda interested in this topic since I'll be deep frying for the first time in donkey years on the campground this year. Still making up my mind if I'll bring my charcoal Go Anywhere Weber grill (small rectangle w/ a non adjustable grate) or 18'/22" "seen in backyards across America" Weber kettle.
