Francesca_KnowlExplorerMar 16, 2014Olive oil is fine for quick sauteeing, but in my opinion gets bitter if used for prolonged frying.Bacon grease can't be beat for fried potato flavor, but if you must use vegetable oil something like safflower or peanut oil would taste better.
