- paulcardozaExplorerSorry, but once you've had FRESH seafood up here in New England, nothing else compares.......
- jkmcmomExplorerSpent 2 weeks at the Joint Reserve Base in New Orleans in 2012. The food was spectacular! We will be back!
We have family in Jacksonville,FL so every year we are parked & happy at Mayport NS. They have 2 rv parks on the base. If you aren't military, there is a great city park, Hanna Park. Great RV or camping at Hanna Park. And you are very close to many, many choices for local seafood!
We'll be there in March and already know we will be at Atlantic Seafood, Singeleton's & several others before we head home. And the freezer will be stocked too.
We just stayed at Destin, FL for this past Christmas holiday. So much good seafood! We will go back but not in the middle of the summer! We saw pictures of the craziness! We'll enjoy it in the off season.
Wherever we go, we always search out local places whether for seafood or the local specialty.
We also head to Albuquerque every year to visit family. The freezer if filled with green chiles when we leave NM.
Now, if I could figure out how to get the RV to Hawaii where we have a son stationed with the Air Force! - Kit_CarsonExplorer

There is no better place to get seafood than South Louisiana. We have it all. Shrimp, crabs, fish, crawfish, oysters, and alligators. prepared in every way boiled, fried, grilled, gumbo, ettoufee, stew and baked. - Canadian_RainbiExplorerEl Manglar Restaurant and RV Park, Playa la Ropa, Zihuatanejo, Mexico.

(LOTS more good seafood locations in AK, just not so much with the "Good Campground" qualifier......Ketchikan, POW Island, Juneau, Sitka, Kodiak....all w/campgrounds of some sort, just takes a boat ride to get there). - magnusfideExplorer II
