Ham glaze from Ol Blue?

Does anyone have the recipe for the ham glaze that Debbie (ol blue) posted at least 6-7 yrs ago?.......Best ham EVER! I lost my recipe :( ....Thanks......RIP Debbie!
  • additional information: No where in the book is her last name mentioned. Her son is Brian and her husband is Don. At the time of this recipe book the address was "Debbie's Ol-blue.com" exactly as printed here. I also see on a coffee cup in the cover picture an email address of "http://www.Ol-blue.com".

Hope this info makes your search easier and successful.
  • Debbie's book is titled "Debbie's Ol-blue Plate Special" Recipes for Camping or Home. Is a 123 page book with recipes and pictures of the dish. She must have published this book herself as it shows no publisher. Copy right 2006. If I am not mistaken she also wrote another book which I do not have.
  • When I find a recipe that I think I might like, I copy it down in a 9x6 spiral bound notebook. After I've made it, tried it, and liked it, I put a star at the top of the page. What I didn't do is write down the author's name and I know they didn't all come from her. Likely, just most of them.
If anyone knows her real first and last name, I promise to search on line and in bookstores where I live to see if she did have a book published, and I'll report back.

    Jim Shoe,

Would you be willing to share those recipes again?

Double ditto. If you'll start a thread in the Camp Cooks and Connoisseurs section called my favorite Ol' Blue recipes, perhaps others can post some they have as well.

You can never have enough good recipes:W

  • I've copied a bunch of her recipes over the years, and every one was a winner, and made from readily available ingredients. I didn't know that she had passed away. Only noticed that she had stopped posting. She'll be missed.

She had some wonderful recipes. I thought she did a book of her recipes. Does anyone know if the book is available and where?
