homemade wood fired pizza oven
has anyone made a wood fired pizza oven? i'm looking for a design for something i can make easy and cheap and not take up too much space in the van

- Yes. Bought a kit from Pizza Kettle for my Weber grill and did the conversion and did my own roticerie mod.It worked great. I just sold it because I purchased a Big Green Egg and use that for my pizza.
- Some friends built a brick one this summer, managed to scorch the wood top of the picnic table to the point where they had to replace the table-top
- A Weber kettle grill and pizza stone.
- We use a old cast iron pancake griddle and a large pan cover on the campsite fire pit. Make a great pizza.
- A book called Earth oven authored Koko. Tells you everything you need.
