Our coffee pot is a built in. We put a bungee cord through the handle of the carafe and it rides just fine. We had been putting the toaster oven under the dinette, but we tried leaving it on the counter for the ride back from the beach Labor Day weekend, and it stayed put just fine even when we had to brake really hard to avoid an accident. The smaller stuff, like the salt & pepper shaker, paper towel holder and utensil crock go under the sink.
