That is the funniest thing I've read in a long time - and I've sure you are telling the truth.

As full timers/snow birders we have a lot of things with us.
Two sizes of crock pots, portable ice maker, bread machine, small hand mixer, side opening can opener, coffee pot, air popcorn popper, toaster (for my wife - I make real toast, buttered bread in the oven), and a new electric turkey roaster. It can handle a 22 pound turkey. No more having to use my saber saw to cut the turkey in half length ways so it will fit in our RV oven.
Plus probably some other stuff I forgot.

Portable propane stove so that we can cook outside.

The electric appliances stay at home where there's shore power for them. (We almost always camp without any hookups.)

Electric skillet , especially for bacon (outside), Oster convection toaster oven, magic bullet and quisinart egg cooker.
Electricity is already paid for!

We use the electric skillet with a lid all the time. Looks just like DutchmenSport's bacon fryer. Many times we bring the waffle maker. Some times use the toaster. We carry a drip coffee maker but I dont think its been used more than 3 times in several years.

For weekend trips, I would prepare meals ahead of time and freeze them. The only thing I need is a couple of microwave bowls to heat things up.

Wow, I guess it depends. I think I'll wait. I don't even have an ice maker at home. Every few months, I'll empty out the ice cube tray because it's sublimated away.

Sorry, no photos of the T-bone steaks, Rib-eye steaks, Beef and Pork Ribs, Sausage patties and links, fried chicken, Ham steaks, Pork Chops, and fish! Little bit of butter or margarine on the griddle, put the meat down, cover with a lid. First time you flip over the meat, get a teaspoon of margarine or butter and put it on top of each piece and let it melt. It adds salt, flavor, and works as a basting. Add mashed potatoes swimming in butter, some ice cream out of the freezer, and yup ... the more I add, I do think it is... www.heartattack.com! But ohhhh so good! What a way to go!

For most short trips, I use my coffee pot, microwave, and grill most often. Next would be crock pot. I have been given toaster oven and electric skillet, but rarely use them. Most of the time, I travel by myself, so will often cook ahead and freeze meals or plan no cook meals. For longer or special trips, I have carried my elec roaster (Thanksgiving camping trip with entire family), specific size crock pots, large electric griddle.

I am a bit of an kitchen appliance junkie, so I have available almost anything I need. I carry what I think I will need for the specific trip. Still trying to determine what to keep and what to get rid of before I fulltime.

What I use most: Though I prefer to cook with Gas. .I have to PAY FOR GAS, electric is included in the rent.
One cup coffee maker, Large "Toaster oven" this unit can cook a small chicken on a rotisserie (included) and alas is no longer made.
Single slice toaster
Electric hot plate (I have 2, one fully adjustable single and one high/med only double (one high one medium).
Slow Cooker/Crockpot I have 2, one is 12 volt.
Mixer, Food chopper (Processer) and Steamer... I realy like that steamer.. You put water in the bottom, put veggies or potatoes or whatever in the hopper and .. It never burns the food. NEVER. .but it sure cooks nice.

Microwave, cause most of the recipies I have are 4-8 servings and thus I cook ahead and re-heat.
