We almost never cook inside. Can do that at home. We travel with a propane stove in case there is a fire ban or we are just in a hurry, but we cook almost exclusively over the fire. Smells and grime build up in a cooking area and a small area like in an RV is worse. Years ago I saw a brown bear rip into an RV and make off with the vent hood which must have smelled good to him. Eye opener not just to how cooking smells linger but also as to the 'bear proof' quality of RV's.
