I have a problem with hard boiled eggs........

Old eggs. We were stationed in Japan and I found that if I bought eggs shipped from the states, they would peel easily, but if I purchased eggs from Japan they wouldn't peel at all or make a mess. So now if I need hard boiled eggs, I buy them about a week before hand and let them sit out for awhile. Never have a problem peeling eggs.
