I was wondering if anyone has ever tried using wall mounted magnetic knife holders in a moving RV? I would love to get my knives out of the drawer where they are banging together, but don't have room...

Your concern regarding knives not remaining magnetically attached would also be a concern to me.Two possible solutions. 1. use a horizontal surface if available. My S&B knife storage is a horizontal magnet. 2. use two magnetic strips, doubles the holding power.
I am not a fan of the blocks etc, they fly in the face of clean in my opinion.
