Last weekend scored on a set of Pyrex pots/lids

I am wondering about safety. Patti is concerned about any toxic materials? I say it is tempered glass so NO problems. And a couple of sites said not to use on the stove top/gas stove.....Sounds silly ...

GraciesDaddy, why can't you use the clear glass lids on the stove, oven or microwave?? I use mine on the stove and in the microwave all the time. They did make some plastic lids that were shaped like the glass at one time, but mine are actually glass. Oh yeah, I have the removable handles too.
