Mexican vanilla-Rooster or not?

I am with pawatt. Have been buying it for 8 years no problems. We usually get it in the plastic.

We like the dark Vanilla with the rooster on the bottle. Have used it for 10 years with total satisfaction.

In any case IMHO the Mexican vanaillas (observe the spelling) are superior to those from the US in concentration and volume for the price. We prefer glass containers. Unfortunately we don't go south of the border any more, pity.

We once bought a bottle of the White Vanilla ,it had the Rooster on it!
We gave it as a gift.. The recipient reported that it contained Feathers !

I will never buy another bottle of Vanilla Extract from a Mexican Store again!

Incidentally All bottled Vanilla is Vanilla Extract there is no such thing as Pure Vanilla in Liquid form!

Pure Vanilla comes as a bean!

Have not tried them all, so I am no expert. But as long as it is pure vanilla it is about the best your going to get.
