Midwest Breaded Pork Tenderloin Sandwiches

Years ago, I hauled my deep-fryer to a campground and made deep-fried breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches for a Class B RV group outdoors.

I finally completed my recipe tutorial that I use to have in another form on a website that died a year ago. It is an illustrated PDF document packed with useful information in 14 pages. If you are a midwesterner and know about pork tenderloin sandwiches or if you are curious, here it is.

  • Super Dave, That's your choice. I will not upload it here as it is a 14 page PDF document fully illustrated and can't be uploaded to RV.net. It's just a Dropbox website and doesn't even have to be downloaded to read. I'm not going to modify it to text only just to satisfy a few and ruin my effort. It's free and my contribution.

Francesca, Not sure why it would be blank. Could it be your browser? I wasn't aware Dropbox could not be accessed as I thought it was pretty universal, as is a PDF document. I tested it on a Mac with both Firefox and Safari. I have it on Facebook as well but not everyone is a member there. For people on Facebook they can go here...

  • Well it's slow, but I didn't get any warnings. I did read it and as a 74 year old who was born and raised, not to mention spent most of their life in Missouri I can say I've had a few real tenderloin sandwiches.
Your recipe is most likely sound, what caught me off guard from an original was Emeril, where was he back then, and panko, same reason.
Truth is you have hit it on the head as a representative of the great tenderloin you ordered at the window. You expected just what you show, a thin tenderloin deep fried and on a bun, mine was with mustard, pickle, and onion.
Did I say they no longer exist? My favorite sandwich was replaced with an imposter made from ground up "meat", filling, and then frozen waiting for some unsuspecting person like myself to think they had found a real tenderloin sandwich.:-(

Good on ya Davy: We krauts know what is good.
  • Sorry, but won't be downloading anything from your site. Post it here or not but don't expect folks to download potentially dangerous things to their computer.
