I can't believe the response to your opening post, LindaAnn. I've been making fruit breads as gifts to friends for more years than I can remember. When I first went to the church in our community, they had a bake sale and I made my fruit breads and they were sold as quickly as they were put out. Sure made an increase of profit for the bake sales, too. I couldn't make enough. Now I'm even being introduced as "our baker". I do diabetic and nut free so everyone has something to buy and buy they do. I haven't done gluten free yet, but as far as I know, no one has complained. Now the organizers are asking me to make some of my regular breads and rolls. Make your breads for gifts to you co-workers and put all your love into it. I have a lot of tried and true recipes - everything from Hawaiian Banana Bread to Angela Lansbury's Date Nut Bread and one of the very best apple breads you'll ever find. If you want any of my recipes, let me know and I'll post or send them to you.
