We carry an electric skillet. The reason is it's easy to set up outside when the kids are around. We also have a one burner gas stove to go with the Q and with the 3 we can cook outside for 8 or 9 people.
That's also an advantage with the Nu Wave oven, it can be put on a portable table outside to cook something you want oven characteristics on.
I can't imagine not having a crockpot.
It does depend on the unit. When we took our Lance into the snow to go elk hunting the Dutch ovens were the star of the show. Nothing like cooking a meal in a DO setting in a space surrounded by a foot of snow.
