Mountain Dew Apple Dumplings

My mouth started watering when I saw the finished dumplings. :B

Have made them with Croissant dough, and it comes out great!!

Sounds wierd, but works out well, surprisingly easy.

Thanks for reminding me of this great recipe. We've done them in a dutch oven before (using a tin foil pie plate). Apple season is here too!

I can attest to the deelishiousness of these treats.

Almost everytime I serve them my guests want the recipe. We love them.

We do almost the same thing with pears (we have several pear trees) and 7-UP. will have to try the Mountain Dew, especially since they now have Mountain Dew Throwback available which is the real Mountain Dew from years past.

Hmm it's been awhile. I guess I need to put crescents on the list.
