This is a new one for me- I'm hoping this doesn't involve the use of your typical galvanized "trash can"!
The zinc in that coating gives off toxic fumes when heated, which is why we've all been cautioned for years not to use old galvanized refrigerator grates for campfire cooking.
Welders are familiar with this hazard, too...see metal fume fever.
