STUFFED FRENCH TOAST
Take a sausage patty and flatten with a rolling pin until approximately 4" width. Quickly brown on both sides, set aside. Place 2 slices bread down and put a thin slice of cheese on each bread. Add sausage to one side and cover with other cheese/bread slice, cheese side in. Dip bread into egg wash and fry like you would regular french toast. The cheese will melt and hold the two slices together. Serve with confectioners sugar and/or syrup.
I have also used bacon for this, but ham should also work.
