I have used it for eggs and really like it. But it does take some scrubbing b/c the pan is so darn rough. I use oil or butter liberally and then let it cool a little and scrub with oil/salt. But it does take more cleaning than my non-stick pans. And it has lumpy rough areas on the edges....
It's obviously a Wally World pan, but I do like that it got me into cast iron. So I will look for old ones now b/c this piece of cr*p will never be a good hand me down LOL.
It may have an appointment with a sander in it's future b/c, let's face it, I really can't ruin a Wally World pan. It will either improve it or it will just be the same. And it's not really all that bad now. I just think I can make it better - sooner.
