New Suburban Stove Burns Rice, Looking for replacement.

We just traded in our 2008 5th wheel for a 2017 5th wheel. Comes with a new Suburban Stove and Oven, pretty. Even on the lowest setting the stove continues to be too hot and either boils stuff over ...

You can get a thingy you put on top of the burner that defuses the flame.Use low flame and your rice won't burn. The DW bought ours in a kitchen gadget store
