- want-a-beExplorerWe have two and the wife loves them. When stopping at camp grounds we can save on propane when cooking. Clean up is fast and easy. She got two of them for the price of one just had to pay shipping and handling on the second one. Might want to get the cookware they offer because alum. cook ware will not work.
Good Luck - bradykExplorerGoing to pick one up that is on sale tomorrow and give it a go as I have a 3 week trip coming up and think it may be handy. From eveything I have read just make sure you get the version 2 as they have made a few tweaks from the first model. It does say it on the box and you can see that in the link on that one. Also make sure you have the right (Magnetic compatible cookware) or it won't work.
- GailSExplorerI have the new version and like it very much. I've had another brand for a few years but much prefer the Nuwave. It will go as low as 100 degrees up to 575 degrees. I bought mine at Bed Bath & Beyond using a 20% off coupon and a gift card. BB&B has no time limit on returns so that was another reason I decided to purchase it there. It came with a 9" fry pan but lots of cookware out there now will work on induction. I shopped with a small magnet to test the cookware. If a magnet sticks to the bottom it will work.
- SchertzExplorerOutstanding for RV cooking
- danorenExplorerThank you all for the quick response.
One more question-does it need to be connected to electricity? - camperpaulExplorer

Sear/1300W - Roy_LynneExplorerThe second I see any commercial that promises "and we'll send you a second for just the amount of" I am so turned off. Looks like a great product, but I think I'll wait til they come to the "as seen on TV shelf" we have at the PX.

It can work in your favor.
We arrived at my DD's and watched the commercial earlier this year. She ordered hers and we got the 2nd one Free. She got the extras and we only paid for shipping.
She uses her regularly, instead of the gas stovetop. As yet, ours still sits in the box waiting for the opportunity. - vic46Explorer

Where?
Vic (AB) - SWMOExplorerWe bought the 2 and it was a legitimate offer as far as I could see.
We use one at home extensively, but not so much in the RV.
The only drawback was the fact we only have one pot that will work on it. All of our frying is in cast iron and it works great with it.I like the digital temperature control. While it takes some time to get acquainted with the settings, once you do you can repeat the heat with precision.
