New/Old Way to Cook Pork Ribs

For years I've been telling all and sundry about the beauty of smoked ribs. The char, the smoke ring....just heaven. And then time caught up with me in the form of cooking for 3 kiddos and somehow I'm back to boiling them. With a twist;).

Brine boiling!

In the interest of time (or maybe it was a mistake ;)) I cut the meat into individual ribs before freezing. Just cut the cooking time down by a minute to accommodate the change and plan to add the cooking time onto the grill time if needed.

Don't skimp on adding seasonings and aromatics to the boiling water. In this case, more is definitely better. Decided to dry rub them on site but suspect it would be fine to do it prior to freezing.

The meat tasted good on it's own though.
