Made this one pot dish kind of spur of the minute for the kiddos' camping trip this year:
Pennsylvania Dutch egg noodles
canned tomatoes; yr choice: whole;crushed; stewed or diced
ground meat: use the kind you like best even leftover burger patty, seasoned with garlic and onion powder or Montreal beef seasoning.
yr fav leftover cooked or frozen veggies
Saute meat with a bit of the oil of your choice (my fav is olive oil) and seasoning; push to side of pot when it is no longer pink. Add tomato product w/ enough water to equal amount of noodles you are cooking; you'll find serving sizes and cooking time on package which will also give you liquid amt. 2 minutes before noodles are cooked add cooked vegetables. Follow cooking time for frozen veggies.
Serve with grated/ shredded Parmesan, Romano, or Asiago cheese mixed in.
